Poly or BLT??

We are going in December and have a reservation for a studio at BLT (home resort). We would like to try all resorts so we try to stay somewhere different each time we go. We are waitlisted for a Poly studio but now I'm not sure. Poly studios don't look like they have any storage but the extra shower looks great. I prefer the food choices at BLT and I love staying at BLT but I just thought I should try somewhere different. What would you do...any comments?

We stayed at Poly in April and loved it. it's my favorite resort though since we stayed there frequently as a child growing up since there were not as many resorts way back then. i liked how quiet it seemed (except for noisy neighbors which you can get anywhere). I loved the vibe, dole whips, food at captain cooks was great, have always loved Kona and tried 'Ohana this time finally too. I like the beach and the ability to watch the fireworks from our balcony. We stayed at BLT April 2016 as a split stay with OKW and we liked it a lot as well. I loved the 10 minute walk to Magic Kingdom. the decor was our style we ate at Contemporary just once.

We are also trying to stay at all the resorts at least once and it's hard to not stay at your favorite. our home resorts are Boardwalk and SSR. I am finally getting to stay at Boardwalk in 2018!

Try each resort, record your findings, pluses and minuses, next time try a different resort. Later you can re-book your favorites.

There is a drawer under the bed for storage at Poly. It is not a lot of storage, but it is something. The downside of having the Murphy Bed is no dresser for storage.

There is a decent sized drawer on each side under the bed and there are some smaller drawers in the bathrooms. So there's some although it's not as good as a BLT studio.

My daughter and I did a split stay last summer at the poly and BLT. We preferred the poly hands down for the size. The studio at BLT feels much smaller.

Thanks for the comments! We have our reservation at BLT and are waitlisted for the Poly so I guess we will wait and see. I don't think I can go wrong either way!
