Okay, we reserved the Poly for 2 nights, now i am leaning towards the beach club. Which would you say is better. We are mainly concernerd about the pools.
Those are my 2 favorite resorts--- I love that the Poly is on the monorail and so close to the MK. Their pool is nice, but sorta small. But you can sit in the pool or on the Beach and see the castle/watch Wishes.
The Beach Club's pool can't be beat if you are big into pools. It's nice to walk in the back of Epcot, too.
I would just pick the one that's theme is more appealing to you and save the other one for your next trip
While I love the Poly and all of the monorail resorts, if your concern is the pool, then go with the BC. From what I've read, Stormalong Bay is like a mini waterpark.
Just don't make the mistake we did, and think you will spend your night swimming in SAB after a long day in the parks. They close SAB down totally at night. They consider it more a waterpark than a pool, and won't leave it open when the lifeguards go off-duty. We were very disappointed, as the one day we had planned for a pool day was too cold! Make time to swim during the day.
Okay..I may be the only one who this matters to, but I don't like the sand in the BC pool. I know that's nuts..but I like a pool to be a pool...and the beach to be the beach. Just don't care for a "sandy pool". Okay..probably just me, but I thought I'd let you know that the Beach Club pool is a sand bottom..to match the Beach theme naturally!
