Poly Luau

Hi! Just wondering if I should really plan my reservations 2 years before trip (going May 2006) for the luau, we're staying (boyfriend and I) at the Poly conc. Does the staff try to get the best available if I decide to wait until May 2005 to do all the planning? Will we get better seating if we make the reservation this May 2004 for May 2006? Thanks for any help.
