Poly Hawaii Longhouse

We just booked LV Concierge at the Poly for September with the 4/7 DV discount and we are sooo excited!! Question.... from what I have read, all of the LV Concierge rooms are located in the Hawaii longhouse, Is this true? Also, should we request a third floor room or a first floor room?? We will have our 2 1/2 yr old son with us. I like the idea of walking out of our room onto the beach, but am concerned about the privacy and view. Also, I have visions of DS running from the patio all over the place with me running after him. I think that the third floor rooms would afford a better view, while DH thinks that the first floor would be more convenient for access to the beach and pool... Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We prefer the first floor for easy access to the beach as well as some reasons rather unique to our family. Tikiman has shown some pictures that show how little difference there is in view from 1st to 3rd floor. But you know your son best. Both of my sons were very active and I think I would have been more afraid of them climbing on the third floor railing than walking out the door (easy to hear the door opening) but either way with little ones that age, it's nonstop vigilance, isn't it!

And yes, other than suites all lagoon view concierge rooms are in Hawaii.

BCV23: Thanks for the response. I think we will request a ground level room with patio!!

Kirkharrod: We are paying $2647.94 for the 7 Night Dream Package (includes UPH, $100 Disney Dollars and a few other misc. things). When I first called the reservation center, they quoted me a price of $6751.70!!!! She told me this was the amount under the DV 4/7 deal!!! I respectfully told her that was impossible, and she responded with "well dear, the concierge rooms are quite a bit more expensive and that is the price my computer is giving me." Needless to say, I hung up and called back and got an experienced (and really nice) reservation specialist who was able to help me. Just a word of warning that not all reservation specialists out there know what they are doing.
