Poly GV or GF GV?

Hoping to get opinions ! I reserved the Poly GV with the great AP rate. We're going first week in December with my Mom who's never been, and my 2 DS's, age 3 and 7 months. Last year we stayed at Poly LV, and it was wonderful, but this year we decided to take cheaper room at Poly. I'm not sure if I should try to switch to the GF. It's about another $160 more total over the 5 nights (although I've heard that the GF offers free fridge, whereas I'd pay $10/day at Poly, so price difference would go down by $50). I've heard that GF is decorated more nicely than the Poly at Christmas, and I'm not sure if I'd have a better chance of a nicer garden view at the GF. What does everyone think? Where are the nicer views, and where would I feel more comfortable with my 2 little guys?

While I love both the Polynesian and GF, I would go with the GF, particularly because you are going to be at WDW in December. The decorations at the GF are the best of any resort on property and the Polynesian is known to not have a very "Christmasy" theme, but rather, a tropical one. While the pool is not quite as exciting as the one at the Polynesian, the new pool at the GF is still fun and I'm sure your little ones would have a great time at the resort. Despite its price, the atmosphere isn't stuffy and there are plenty of little ones around the lobby. Because of the decor, I think the price difference is well worth it. Have a wonderful time at either one!
