Hello!

I was wondering where your favorite location was to watch Wishes... Polynesian's beach, Grand Floridian's beach or (if there is somewhere) Contemporary?

We are doing a surprise dinner at Chef Mickey's for my younger brother's b-day, and want to head over to a resort to watch Wishes from, as another surprise. :cheer2:
Oh, and do they pipe the music :rockband: in anywhere, or is it just the fireworks you see?
Any info is great!

TIA!!! :D

I'm going to try the Poly beach this summer. In Dec., we were lucky enough to go on a fireworks cruise for my college's roommate's birthday on her husband's dime :D - it was FANTASTIC! :wizard: They DO pump the music into the boats - it was an incredible experience! :cloud9:

We stay at GF so we like to watch Wishes from either the ferry dock (next to Narcoose's) or in fron the of the marina and Gasparilla's. The music is piped in to both, but faintly. We prefer Gasparilla's location because the kids get ice cream and they have tables and chairs to sit on while we watch.

Which would you say has the best view?

Definitely the Polynesian. It's directly across the lake from the Castle and the view was just beautiful.

i have watched from all 3 and while the Poly use to be my favorite we just watched them from the roof of the contemporary and they were great.... You take the elevator to the 11th floor and head out to the stairs.. from there we headed up to the roof and watched from outside the resturant out there.. They do pipe the music into both the resturant and they had speakers outside. They are alot closer from the Contemporary then the Poly.. They were nice from the beach but so much closer from the comtempary and from that high up they looked great and we could see Tink fly by too. We were also there on New Years Eve and watch from our room on the 14th floor concierge and watched the fireworks going off all around the park and from the water too.. Just spectacular... Though I would never stay at concierge at the contemporary again and would only do my Poly concierge again

Do you have to be staying at the Contemporary to get access to the roof? Sounds like a super view!

Since last year you cannot go up to the top of the Contemporary unless you have a reservation at the California Grill.
