poly gardenview?

Now that hockey season officially ends for us this week here in NH, we are going to take our first trip to WDW - leaving 4/20 for 8 nights. Staying at the Polynesian with my husband and two children, 7 & 11. I would like to stay in a building fairly close to the pool with a nice gardenview. If anyone has any suggestions as to what building/room I should request, I would really appreciate it.
p.s. we would love a room with a balcony.

this site will give you alot of insight to rooms, etc. I'll be going to Poly in July! Gardenview room requesting is either Tokelau or Tahiti! They are all beautiful!

We liked Aotearoa (sp). We had a 3rd floor room overlooking the monorail. There's another monorail view building but it also overlooks the parking lot.

On my trip this past Septemner we stayed in Tokelau. It was a pretty close walk from the Great Ceremonial House. We liked this building since it was non-smoking, close and had balconies. Also, we had a standard view, and this building does not face any parking lots. From our balcony, we faced the quiet pool. If you had a room across the hall you would look at garden area. We could walk out the center of the building and go along the water side of the resory right to the main volcano pool, or walk along inside the resort to access the pool and be close to Captain Cooks.

I loved this bulding and If I go back to the Poly I would stay there again. Unless, of course, Ihit the lottery and then I go all out for a water view and 10 days! Ah to dream. Last year we had a great discount code that made the stay bearable.
