Poly favorites?

DD10 and I are going to the Poly for a mother-daughter trip 5/3-5/6 First time staying here, any favorite tips? I’m sure we will watch the fireworks from the beach one night. And I think I’ll call ahead to MS and request Tokelau.

Go to Trader Sams before 8pm to enjoy the CMs having fun and the special effects.

If you're a fan of 'Ohana, order the Twilight Feast from the room service menu and eat it on your balcony. Portions are very large. You can get just one meal and share. The adult portion ($40) will definitely feed you both, and the child portion ($20) might also if you're not big eaters. It comes with everything you get at the restaurant except the ice cream for the bread pudding. Room service will have added the gratuity (18%) to the bill already when they give it to you to sign. But there's also a line on the bill for a tip. Be careful not to tip a second time!

The "Spirit of Aloha" dinner show is pretty good to do at least once, but O'Hana has become a once a trip dinner for our family.

Also, by the Kona Cafe is a coffee and sushi bar that offers an alternative to Capt. Cooks.

It is a must to eat at Ohana...especially if you are staying there!
