POLY DVC POOLS

Will there be a separate DVC only pool in between the DVC buildings at the Poly?

No. At this time there are only two pools at the Poly: The main Lava Pool, which is scheduled to reopen around March 26, 2015, and the East Pool, which is near the Tokelau Longhouse, one of the three longhouses that form the DVC property. The East Pool will close around mid-April and undergo a major renovation, adding a hot tub and grill. Disney has reported the renovations might not be completed until January 2016.

Interesting follow-up question: Will they be adding a pool just for DVC or since they aren't adding more rooms/capacity (outside the 20 bungalows) do they feel they just don't need to?

They don't pay to add a pool unless the have to. There I a pool next to one of the DVC buildings so that will be one of the 2 shared pools. No separate pool for DVC.

I did see though that all the bungalows have a mini private pool, so that might be disneys way of getting around adding a new pool

The 1 person dipping pool isn't heated so I don't think that it was a fair trade.

Well that's nofun! At least it isn't THAT cold in October for us Northerners. We have a bungalow booked for 2 nights then

Disney doesn't heat any pools in warm weather, it is on the WDW website.

VGF is a perfect example, they didn't add a pool, but they did some upgrades by adding a children's water play area.
