Poly Concierge...

Currently they are saying the Hawaii will be done by 9/27/03, so you should be OK unless something changes.

Here a link to a great web site on Disney info, including closures and rehabs.

Hope you have a great trip!

Greetings, BriarRose108!

The most recent info says that Hawaii will be under rehab until Oct 17. We'll be there Oct 1-8 LV Concierge and aren't worried about a thing.
Check out Tikiman's site for the latest updates. And you can trust the Tikiman; when I mentioned him to the Concierge folks on the phone, they knew all about him and loved his site.

Aloha,
Erick

Thanks for the kind words Erick. The dates did change from September. Their latest guess for completion is October 17th.

Aloha

Steve

hey tikiman, any rooms in Tahiti on 1st or 3rd floors where you cant see the castle? Think we want to try a 1st floor patio but am worried about not being able seeing castle from our room. thanks

If you want a ground level room in Tahiti than go for the west end (rooms 1015-1027) Keep away from 1028. From what I remember there were some trees and bushes along the path next to 1028. The east end has a great view towards the MK but you can only see the top of the castle from the ground level rooms on the east end because of the tree tops on the island. If you want a 3rd floor than either side will be fine.

Below are photos from the ground level.
