Coming in just before Christmas trip and can't make up our mind where to stay. Any advice? He wants to stay somewhere that will be very decorated for Christmas and with a great pool. Any advice? With AP pass, I can get the Poly about $120 cheaper than the Beach Club. We will be spending a great amount of time at MK, but will be visiting all the parks. Thanks!

I'd say the Poly sounds like it would be best for you. All the hotels are very decorated, the Beach Club is maybe more traditionally decorated, but I'd think an 8 yr. boy would appreciate the Poly's take on Christmas.

The Beach Club's pool can't be beat but the Volcano pool at the Poly is pretty cool too.

The Poly's Mono-rail access to the MK and walking access to TTC for the EPCOT Mono-rail definitly beats the Beach Club if you're going to spend more time at MK.

Everyone has their favorites but we preferred the Poly's Concierge Lounge food offerings. I think that the renovations on the regular concierge longhouse has been completed, so the rooms should be like new.

That leaves the price which also favors the Poly. You can't go too far wrong anywhere on-site, and either of your choices would be great!

Both are great with kids. Our kids love the BC the best, but the monrail is mighty nice! Both have great kids options for snacks! Good Luck!

If you stay at the Poly be sure to hop the monorail to the Contemporary Resort's Arcade. Your 8 year old will love it! It's my husband and son's favorite way to relax after a long day at the parks.

I vote for the Poly. I have a 5 & 7 DS and their favorite, and mine, is the MK. We stayed at the YC a couple of years ago and while it was terrific it was not nearly as nice as our prior and later stays at monorail hotels. Location, location, location!!!

We returned on October 28th from a long stay that involved several resort changes..........one being Beach Club Concierge. My take on it was that although the pool was terrific for our DD10 and DS7, there is so incredibly much else happening, that have THE best pool is not really a top priority unless you aren't planning to go to the parks. I would go for the $ savings!

I would suggest Poly for all reasons mentioned, plus concierge building at Poly is right next to the pool. You're just steps away. Also, view of castle from LV room, or the beach, can't be beat. It even wowed my teenagers!
