Poly concierge features?????

Could someone who has stayed at Poly concierge, please let me know some specifics on what (and when) the extras entail???? I'm trying to determine if the extra cost is worth it. We're going in Jan 2004 and tour commando style (leave the hotel at 650 am, come back early afternoon, go back late afternoon, then close a park down) so I'm concerned that it won't work for us.

If you are really serious...leaving at 6:50am and all...then no, concierge will probably not be worth it for you. They generally don't start serving breakfast until 7:00am.

IMHO if you are touring "commando" style, then unless you need queen sized beds there's no reason to spend the money on any more than a moderate.

That said, there is bottled water and soda you can take with you, they ahve strollers available for free in a limited number, breakfast in teh am, light snacks during the day, wine and appetizers at dinner time, dessert around 7:00pm. But most of this is happening when you'd be gone, so you'd get no value out of it.

Otherwise you get robes in the room and a free minifridge.

BTW--Not sure if you realize it but in January there are very limited park hours--nothing generally opens before 8:00 or 9:00am, and other than Epcot everything closes between 5:00-7:00pm. Epcot is open until 9:00.

thanks. We like the poly because it is the most convenient for our commando techniques since it is on the monorail, next to TTA, and has a very convenient parking lot.

If you're asking about the concierge lounge offerings, sounds like with your schedule you'd most probably miss all the meals. Breakfast is from 7-10:30 a.m.; cookies/snacks from noon until 5 p.m.; hors d'oeuvres from 5-7 p.m.; desserts/cordials from 8-10 p.m.
