POLY Conceirge LOVERS- Please Don't Hate Me

First off let me say- we love Disney World.
We've stayed at the Coronado Springs, Wilderness Lodge-loved it, and this past May at the Shades of Green. We love Dining at the Poly and had said we would love to stay there our next trip but just couldn't justify $300 a night in value season. Well guess what - you'll never believe it - there's a military room only code that I got from this board that let me book Garden View Conceirge at the end of August till the 4th of September for - - -
$234 a night. I'm still shaking and so nervous thinking that this must be a mistake. Thank you all for your help.
Can you recommend a room and also give me an idea of food offerings for the conceirge service?

Great Rate!

We just returned from the Poly and stayed in a GV room. (In fact, the exact room we requested!)

Samoa building, room 1606. Looking directly at the volcano pool, (Literally 30 feet to the pool) ground floor, to the right the beach and lagoon and to the left the GCH. Great view and atmosphere!

We stayed GV in room 2525. We had a beautiful view of the gardens and a bit of the quiet pool. A family of ducks liked to hang out below our room. It was a short walk to the lounge too.

The food offerings were great. In the morning there was your usual assortment of coffee, tea, juices, milk. There were sweet rolls, toasters for English muffins, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal. In the afternoon for snacks they had fresh fruit, juices, iced tea, cookies, gummy worms, trail mix. Later at dinner time there were things like spare ribs, fried rice, egg rolls, PBJ's for the kids. At night, there were various wines and things like Kahlua, Drambuie, and a bunch of really yummy desserts.

You can ask the staff for things that they don't have out, like juice boxes, chocolate milk and beer. I thing they had Heineken and Miller Lite.
