POLY Club-level GV ?

Are there really GV club-level rooms on the 1st floor and the beach outside the room? If so, anyone request these and got them?

Unless something has changed, all the GV CL rooms at the Poly face the Oasis pool. Only LV and TPV rooms face the lagoon/beach side. I stayed GV last August and I gotta say, walking out of my room and straight out to the pool wasn't a bad thing!

I only asked this because on Touring Plans they showed the first floor corner ones were GV with a view of the beach/bungalows. I guess they are really Lagoon View?

I wonder if the TP info is not up-to-date? From Tikiman's Hawaii page below. All rooms on the lagoon side appear as LV and TPV on Tikiman's site.

UPDATE AUGUST 2015 There are no longer Garden View Club rooms on the lagoon side of Hawaii.

Everyone has to decide what is "worth it" for themselves and their individual budget but after taking a tour of the Hawaii building last winter and looking at rooms on both sides of the building, we decided it honestly appeals more to us to stay on the Oasis pool side. We are hoping for ground floor and like the idea of being able to walk right out to the pool, even if GF means less patio privacy. Others wouldn't want to miss out on a castle view from their room but that's just not a priority to us.

We will be staying Garden View for the 2nd time this year and we think it's wonderful and a great value. The views from the lounge are beautiful, we love to watch the fireworks from there or while sitting in the pool. We don't really spend that much time in the room whether were at the parks or around the resort so paying extra for the view isn't worth it for us but we love the club level experience

Poly CL Garden View is absolutely lovely, and I would not hesitate to book it if that's what your budget allows!

We stayed GV last December, and spent every afternoon sitting on our patio, sipping adult beverages from the lounge and enjoying the view of the gardens and the Oasis pool, while our son napped inside. We found the first floor to be ideal, only a quick stairway trip to the lounge. I had originally thought we wanted a balcony for privacy, but the openness of the patio turned out to be sooo enjoyable because the view while sitting is not obstructed by a railing, and we always pull the drapes in the morning and evening anyway.



Fireworks viewing is easy-paeasy. You can either watch from the lounge, or in 15 seconds pop around the corner to the beach for a great view. I did this every single night, beverage in hand. Love, love, loved it!

I was wondering about the view in GV. Are there any rooms with a blocked non pretty view? Like a palm tree in your face? Is it get noisy in GV?
oasis is the zero entry right? Does it get really crowded like I've read?

Not sure if there are any rooms with an obstructed view but the landscaping was beautiful outside of our room, we had the ground floor room closest to the lounge. We really didn't hear any noise from either outside the patio or inside the building just the occasional loud person walking down the hall but we didn't find noise to be an issue at all. We loved being close to the lounge, that was the only rooms request I made for our upcoming trip.
