My DD (7) has been put in charge of making the choices for our vacation in March. As a family, we talk about the different options but she gets to make the final choices. It has been a fun project for the family! Now that she has made the choices, we have questions. So here I go . . .

1. We have never done a split stay. How many days would you suggest at each place? Which one would you do first and why? We will be arriving on a Sunday night and leaving on Saturday afternoon. There will be 4 of us - DH, DD (7), DS (will be 4), and myself. Kids are not really big Epcot fans but love to be at MK. DD chose BW because of the pool and the look of the boardwalk. She chose Poly because of the pool and being close to MK.

2. We will be staying at the Poly LV Concierge in December (DH and I - leaving the kids at home for our 10th anniversary). However, we have never even seen the BW. I have read some about the BW but have not seen a whole lot posted about it. I would love to hear what people have to say about this resort. Also, how is the concierge service? Would you recommend it? Please tell me about it.

3. These 2 trips (December 2003 - 5 nights; March 2003 - 6 nights) were really extra unexpected trips. We did not expect to be going 2 times so close to one another so I am debating getting AP's. Are there usually discounts offered at these locations for the times we are going?

Thanks in advance for anything you want to share to help us plan this trip! We are really excited to have the extra trips to plan!:Pinkbounc

hi , I think its very cool you are letting DD pick..I can't help with the hotels altho when my Oct 2004 trip comes around I am thinking of BWV and either Poly or WL . I can say if you plan to be in the parks 8 days or more then Yes get an AP . and who knows you may actually squeeze in one more trip before they expire.. let us know what you decide.. Michelle

I think we have decided on getting 2AP's (DH and me) since we will be going in December (although we have a lot of plans to change because we had booked a package with the silver add on for our anniversary - we still have to figure out how to plan for this).

We are really interested in information on how people do the split stays at resorts. Is it a pain to pack everything up? If we go to the park in the morning, do they move our luggage for us?

Thanks!
