Poly Bungalow availability and points burn?

Has anyone else noticed how there are virtually no bungalows available this summer? Are people just burning points at the bungalows? It was suggested that it has to do with the re-ferb but I didn't think that applied to the bungalows. I've also noticed that two bedrooms are harder to book than one-bedrooms/studios this fall. Is this an indication of what's to come in the next year? I'm afraid Member Services will see no reason to remove the borrow restrictions anytime soon.

Members using up points is a good thing. The faster the extra points get absorbed, the sooner the restrictions can be lifted.

PVB is being refurbed and that should include the Bungalows too as they were opened at the same time as all other PVB rooms.

I believe only the hotel rooms not DVC accommodations are part of the refurbishment.. So the studios and bungalows would not be included.

Poly DVC is scheduled for a soft goods update this year. It was announced in December at the Annual meeting.

The 2022 soft goods refurb that was announced in 2019 was then announced at the 2020 member meeting to be changing to 2021. Most likely to match up to the hotel side refurb. Approx 1 1/2 -2 months inventory disappeared for the July-mid Sept timeframe so unless that's changed it is almost certainly the what the timing looks like for the refurb.
