Poly, Beach Club or Contemporary

I agree with PPs- try a split stay. I would add this, though: Do the Poly last because you won't want to leave!
My youngest names the Volcano slide as one of his favorite things at Disney, and with the close proximity to the Dole Whip machine you really can't go wrong with the pool. :cool1:

I'm in the same boat between the three. Poly wod be my first choice but is almost 2k more than our trip this year. That may just break the bank. Cr has its pluses but at the end of the day, looks boring to me. Yet, mOst of the dining we want is at poly and cr would be a quick ride away.

Bc has the great pool that my kids would lOve. Yet we do have a car and walkIng wouldn't be my kids first priority.

We do enjoy our counter service though and I hear cr has the best counter service of all deluxes.

My vote is for the Poly! Love everything about it. Have great memories of my DD 1st trip screaming the entire way down the Volcano Pool slide! Love Ohana's and Kona's and even Captain Cook's- especially since they enlarged the dining area.
The walk to the Epcot monorail is short and we have never had a problem with the buses.
When I walk into the beautiful lobby I sigh and feel like I am home.
Enjoy whatever you pick and have a great time!:goodvibes

I am at BLT now and live it!!! I've stated at BC but never poly. My son, who's 8, has loved being here and being so close to MK!!

My vote is for the Poly but I love all three. Just try each over time then decide your favorite.

I'm going to agree with this :thumbsup2

We LOVED the Poly, but we're going to try BC this spring break (quick WL trip in December to get in the holiday spirit :santa:). Trying something new at Disney is a dilemma though, isn't is? It's hard not to just go back to something I've loved previously.

We just returned from a week long stay at BC and loved everything about it!! DDs 8,7,6 loved it as well, especially the pool! The only thing that would have made it perfect is if it were on the monorail line. With that being said, we are planning our next trip...I want to try poly, dh contemporary and kids want to stay put at BC....we spent most of our time at MK and Epcot so dh and I really want the monorail...please give me your opinions!!! TIA
If you are considering a monorail resort for 2013, you may want to focus some of your research on possible construction projects before booking, if you prefer to avoid these types of settings.

It appears Disney had a decade focused on food, then cruise line and now it appears it is DVC with one being currently built at GF and rumors (along with observed surveyor balloons) of one going in at the PR along with major rehab.

Even though the BC has one of the best slides/pool area, POLY's pool/slide is great also.

and...POLY can get you to EPCOT/MK...:goodvibes
