We just returned from a week long stay at BC and loved everything about it!! DDs 8,7,6 loved it as well, especially the pool! The only thing that would have made it perfect is if it were on the monorail line. With that being said, we are planning our next trip...I want to try poly, dh contemporary and kids want to stay put at BC....we spent most of our time at MK and Epcot so dh and I really want the monorail...please give me your opinions!!! TIA

Since Epcot is a few minutes walk from BC you could stay put.

Or do a split stay with BC for your EP and HS days than one of the monorail resorts for MK.

I'd do the Poly. It's convenient to both MK and EP

This is my vote too. We love the Poly! The easy walk to TTC to catch Epcot monorail is a bonus

I'd stick with BC. Do you have park hoppers? If so, you could take the monorail to MK from Epcot. Then you would be able to walk to Epcot and HS, and take the monorail to MK.

We've never stayed at the CR, but between the Poly and BC, the Poly is our favorite of the two. We liked our BC stay and loved the resort, but the Poly won us over once we stayed there. We love the tropical atmosphere, the beach, the distant view of the castle from just about anywhere on the Poly grounds, and the rooms are quite a bit larger than at the BC. We also love being just 2 monorail stops from MK and within walking distance to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail :goodvibes. We liked SAB at the BC, but we love the volcano pool at the Poly as it backs up to the beach and has such a relaxing setting :cloud9:. With all of that said, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, but our choice would be the Poly. Good luck :).

This!! The Poly is our absolute favorite resort!! We've stayed at both BC and Poly. Sadly, with the rates at Poly these days I don't think we'll be staying there again but if you can swing it I say Poly all the way!

We haven't stayed at the Contemporary, but we did stay at Bay Lake Tower and we preferred it over the Poly and the Beach Club. All three of them are nice though! I say try something new. :)

My vote is for BLT! we love it there!! the kids love the water slide/ pool area here

the Poly was awesome too!! :) and there are dole whips here!!

We stayed at the contemp years ago and that was great too!!

all are great choices!!

My vote is for the Poly but I love all three. Just try each over time then decide your favorite.

Like a few other posters, I would recommend a split stay between the Beach Club and the Poly. I have to confess that it was such a pleasure to be able to walk to both Epcot and HS when we stayed at the Beach Club - NO busses for five days, wohoo! We then switched to the Poly for easy access to MK.

I say try the Poly!

Easy access to both the MK and Epcot (TTC is within walking distance), plus a great pool area overlooking MK and yummy dining options! :thumbsup2

The Poly is our favorite resort, followed closely by the BC. A split stay with the BC is a good option too, but I definitely say try something new for at least part of your stay. Have fun!

Thanks! My vote is the Poly too! We ate at Ohana twice on our trip and loved the atmosphere. With my girls the monorail would be awesome and the poly beach to watch the fireworks, even better! They weren't huge HS fans so one bus ride there is easy. My one concern is that my kids will be let down that there is no SAB...how does the poly pool compare? Thx

The volcano pool is pretty awesome. Not gonna lie it's no SAB but it's a great pool. It's my 2nd favorite pool on property after SAB

Contemporary for sure. Larger rooms, recently updated (compared to other 2), walk to MK, better buses of the three monorail resorts...we love it there. Second choice would be BC - love the option of walking to and from parks.

Yep! Agree with all of this!! I NEVER would have thought I'd like the Contemporary, but I sure do. DS loves the monorail running through the building and not having to wait outside. And just having the flexibility to walk to the MK rocks.

Every time that we go, the kids always say they want to stay somewhere we've already been because it's what's familiar to them I think. But every time we go, they always LOVE where we stay. We've stayed at both Poly and CR and loved them. I think Poly will probably always be one of my favorites, I love the beach area, the tropical theming, the close proximity to MK, zero-entry pool.

CR was really special for us because we got a TP view room. The rooms were really modern and very comfortable and we could watch the fireworks from our room every night. (You can do this at Poly too though) One thing I really liked about CR was that the bathrooms have a separate WC which was really useful when we're getting ready in the AM. I liked the QS area better at CR than Poly...but there are birds in there!

Either one I think you and your family will love, just choose the theme that is more appealing to you. We're heading to BC in a month! :goodvibes

We just got back from the YC. We liked the YC and how easy it was to walk to EPCOT's IG. We liked the Poly much better. Our room at the YC was far from the lobby, pool and food. YC buses were not that good for us, we ended up using a cab alot of the time.

We really liked the Poly's theme and landscaping. Our room, 1st floor Niue facing the Volcano pool was steps from the pools and the GCH. The buses seemed to come more often and seemed quicker (even sharing with GF and or CR).

We liked Captian Cook's better than Hurricane Hanna's for quick service.

The kids like SAB over the Volcano pool.

We liked that Poly rooms all have daybeds, important for us as our teens do not like to share a bed. We did get a daybed at YC, but it seemed smaller than the Poly's.

We like watching Illuminations from our patio at YC and liked watching Wishes from the beach/pool and GCH at the Poly.

At the Poly you can walk to the TTC and catch the EPCOT monorail, usually a quick walk. So for MK and EPCOT park goers, the Poly is where I'd stay.
