Hi...

Think we've finally narrowed down our choices to either Poly, BC, or WL.

Have never been to any of those resorts, and I understand they all have their perks...so here are our details...need your opinion.

--Traveling will be myself, husband, 8 year old son, and 14 month old daughter (14 mos at the time of travel).

--We will be going in the first part of June, either 8 or 9 nights.

--Our son has lots of "park stamina", but we have never traveled with our daughter to Disney...so we are expecting to split up a lot, and given the heat spending afternoons at the pool or in the room everyday. Thus the appeal of BC for the pool.

--Our 2 favorite parks are MK and MGM...MK being our top, I can envision that it would be a nice perk for one of us to be able to get to MK quickly with our son to catch a few rides after the baby is done for the night. But I suppose he might enjoy Epcot more this time than before...don't get me wrong, we love Epcot, but as far as rides he enjoyed the most were at MK.

What are your opinions...

Sell me on your resort of choice.

Having stayed at all 3, and also having the same experience with children of that age, I wouls say the Beach Club.

You are withing walking distance (or boat) to 2 of the parks. Having kids, naps are the key. No matter the age.

So you would plan on speding the mornings at MK or AK (by bus) and comming back to the room for a nap, pool time to recharge. Then take a nice walk in the late afternoon to EPCOT or MGM to spend the evening at. then you can just walk back to your room and not fight the hordes of people waiting for a bus, boat, or monorail.

If you don't mind a split stay, we just had a great exp at both the Poly and BC - seamless transfer between them, we don't unpack totally when we go away so it wasn't a big deal to repack - we spent 4 nights at the Poly and 9 at the BC. Perfect vacation.

I would do POly.Proximity to MK and access to Monorail will be huge with a 14 mos old.

having just come back from WL and having stayed at the other two, i was about to say WL. But when i think about it the Poly is going to be better because of transport. You have direct access to Mk on the monorail while WL may take a little longer to wait for a boat or bus. When you have kids about to meltdown this is important. Also if at the Poly, you can take the 5 min walk to the Ticket and Transport Center for direct monorail to Epcot, the Poly is probably the best hotel on property for transport. Obviously from TTC you can get a bus to the other parks as well, it was just so convenient.

The Poly is no 1 for feeling relaxed and giving you that vacation vibe as you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The WL felt very cosy, welcoming and beautiful and is now my fav above the Poly. Beach Club was nice but transport was far better at the Poly and the other two resorts just made me feel more relaxed and at home.

What a lovely choice to have to make though:thumbsup2

When we were planning our last trip - we had it narrowed down to those 3 also, then down to BC and Poly. We went with the Poly mainly for the transportation and it was WONDERFUL!! Having the monorail to both MK and Epcot is indispensible. We are not big MGM fans, though, so BC might be closer for that. The Poly pool is great - zero entry which should be perfect for your little one. We came back each day for naps for our 2 kiddos, it worked very well. Another nice Poly perk is being able to see Wishes and the EWP right from the resort. Much quicker to get the kids to bed afterwards. We loved the Poly, its beauty and convenience so much we're headed back in 2009!!
