Poly and BC daybeds?

We are considering the Poly or BC for a family of five. Are the day beds in these hotels standard size? My 16 year old daughter would be using it. We understand the daybeds at the Boardwalk are smaller than standard.

Poly and YC daybeds are standard size, about like a twin. DOn't know if BC has Daybeds.

The daybeds at the Polynesian are very comfortable. I slept in one when I was about 7 months pregnant (it was more comfortable than sleeping in the same bed as hubbie at the time ).

Also, the rooms at the Polynesian are much bigger than at the Beach Club... for a family of five you will probably be more comfortable at the Polynesian.

I have to agree. My 9yo DS slept on the daybed during our stay last Aug/Sep and had plenty of room. One night my 4yo DS actually slept on it with him for a while (before he rolled off )

The rooms at the Poly are very nice and large. It was our most relaxing stay yet (and we've stayed at lots of WDW resorts).

Yep, regular Twin bed size.

Beach Club are the same as Boardwalk Inn. The Polynesian ones are larger and have a better mattress. The Polynesian one is actually more of a twin bed, the BC one is more of a settee with a pad on it.

I certainly wouldn't call the BC daybed a "bed". It's pretty small and narrow and more of a couch cushion than anything else.

My 18yo DS doesn't fit on the BC daybed. My 16yo DS barely fit (and he's average height). It fit my 12 yo DD best. We had to have a rollaway brought in. It took up a lot of the room because the roll aways are regular size twin beds, but everyone was happy and comfy.
