Be a regular person and you won't get calls from doctors because you can't afford to go to the doctor after the cost after paying the insurance premiums. I don't answer unknown calls either.
Well, I am a regular person on Medicare, so I am enjoying the lowest premiums and deductibles that I can remember.

I haven't had a landline in 15 years, and I never answer my Cell unless I know the person. /shrug
My problem with my primary Doctor is when he calls my cell phone, the number he calls from must be in his office, and it is an extension that nobody ever answers and has no voice mail. I have to call his main office number and leave a message and wait for him to call back. So much easier if I just answered his first call.
Two of the Specialists I see rotate in different offices, and call from blocked number, so again, if they have called my cell, I have to answer or I will be waiting again.

Have you heard of the Affordable Healthcare Act?

Yes, I assume it's the reason my health insurance policy went from paying for what I have it for to not paying anything until I've reached the level of losing my home from being swamped in medical bills.

A friend qualified for grants through the Affordable Healthcare Act. Her premiums were $25 a month....they since have risen to $195 due to increases in her income. She had a two year battle against cancer. Major surgery, tumors and organs removed, radiation and chemo. And she struggled to pay the balance that insurance didn't cover. But all that treatment cost her less than $7,000.

I have in the past, but I also don't generally answer unknown calls. I just added my regular docs and pharmacy to my contacts so I don't usually miss their calls.

That makes sense. And kind of sucks, all my doctors come up as either their name or the practice name.

Nope, never been polled. I don't think they would like what I have to say anyway.

LOL. I had one today on my cell. Caller ID came up with the name of the building they are in, Capital Medical Pavilion. That's a 6 story building with various medical offices in it, including three specialists I see.
