I hate pollen! Today the pollen count in Atlanta is 5,485--it should be less than 100. My face itches, my throat hurts, I'm all congested & sneezy--and that's *with* Allegra. DH keeps trying to get me to come outside and "enjoy the weather"--no thanks. I have enough pollen on me just sitting in the house!

Lucky for us, it's only 7 more weeks until grass season.:headache:

I'm sorry you feel so bad.

We're in Maryland & the pollen count here isn't up yet.
I always know when it is because DS9's eyes swell & his nose runs like crazy.
It usually happens in April for him.
He's got an appointment with his allergist on April 11.

Gotta love those Georgia pines.... and oaks and azaleas and dogwoods and Yoshino cherries...;)

Here, have a tissue -

Everything outside my house is covered in yellow pollen. There's even a yellow haze in the air. Love the beauty of all the flowers, but I wish it would rain to take down this pollen count.

It's been pretty bad for the past couple of weeks here but today is absolutely OFF THE CHARTS! I don't know what the pollen count is but I am ready to claw my eyes out of my head  I can't stand the itching. The sneezing, runny nose and post nasal drip I can live with but somebody turn off the itch, please!

It beats snow.

I don't think so. Snow never invaded my house, got on my dishes, settled on the dog bed, lined the counter tops, and got trapped under my eyelids. I can't get away from this pollen--it's EVERYWHERE. If we don't get some rain soon we're all gonna look like monsters!

I am suffering right along with you. Allegra, Singulair, Advair, and the occasional shot of Albuterol all make for the cocktail that keeps me breathing this time of year. I am just hoping to avoid getting ill due to this stuff. Maggie

Nope, snow would be awesome in comparison. At least that would melt away after a week or two. The insane pollen counts in Atlanta last for about 8 to 12 weeks. I'll take snow any day! Maggie

Seriously on Saturday, it was so weird. Yellow stuff was flying every where. Pollen storm?

Lol...guess so, now I am ocughing and sneezing and my throat feel horrible.
