I voted for POR because we LOVE it and have stayed there twice!! This year we are splitting our stay between two moderate resorts!!! POR/four nights and CBR/four nights with AP rates of $109!! (Couldn't get CSR (even at rack rates)!?!?!

Side note: I could only get POR yesterday for all eight nights, which we didn't mind, but I would like to try another resort!! Well, I called back tonight at about 6:30, asked about AP rates for CBR for the last four nights of our stay and THEY WERE AVAILABLE!!! SO, DON'T GIVE UP!!! Keep calling back!!! Thank you DIS Board buddies!!

Not a very objective vote, but I'll vote for POR since that is the only moderate I've been too. The family and I totally loved it. It was our first on site visit. Our original trip was 5 days. We were having such a great time we stayed an extra 2 days. Looking forward to CSR in April. For some reason I'm the crazy dad with the Disney bug. My 8 year old DD loves it. I just found this site and have been lurking for a few days. Love it and it got me the AP rate for CSR. Thanks.

Glad you decided to de lurk and post. From one crazed Disney parent to another welcome and be careful this site is almost as addictive as Disney itself. I drive my DH crazy with everything I learn from this place. But in the end he appreciates it.

So true. LOL! I've converted many guests over to CSR. Not bad for a resort that is only 6 years old. If you checked these polls out back in 98, CSR never rec'd any love.

Nice food court, small resort, great pool, almost always picked up and dropped off first by the bus.

We've stayed at POR and POFQ of the mods. We love POFQ! We'll be staying there for the 3rd time in May. We like it better than AKL even (did a split stay at POFQ/AKL last month). We're joining DVC and we'll actually miss staying at POFQ!! But atleast when we stay at SSR, we can just hop on the boat to visit our first love.

It seems like more people like the Port Orleans resorts... We are staying at the Caribbean - is that still a nice resort? Least amt of people voted for it. I read they have a beach.

This one was tough. I love both POR and POFQ for different reasons. I finally voted for POR. It was my first onsite stay and I just fell in love with it. I love just walking around and enjoying the peace and quiet with my refillable mug in tow.

It's Coronado Springs. I keep trying to stay there and can't get an AP rate. I've wound up at Riverside and CBR this year instead. The convention business must be booming.

It is not a bad resort at all. Quite beautiful actually.
