Poll: Would you like more TV stations at DVC?

HHI does have all the regular basic cable channels. I really enjoyed watching Food Network and HGTV while we were there.

At WDW we end up watching The Disney Channel endlessly (or ABC Family when they showed Who's Line is it Anyway?). Granted its how we got hooked on Even Stevens and Phil of the Future (oh and now it's Life with Derek) because we don't have cable at home, and we love the Appliance Direct channel (maybe its your refrigerator?) and the Japan channel, but seriously that's just crazy.

As an aside, is there anyone else who feels they're not in WDW until they've watched the Appliance Direct guy? Oh, I guess I should have read the rest of the thread! LOL! Wow, its like I'm in Disney!

Maybe instead of more TV channels we could get a better radio in the room. We stayed at the Grand Californian this past January and they had a really nice Bose radio in the room, it had a CD player too.

When we check in these days, we always put on the channel that has the current information, just to listen to the music. That channel stays on the entire trip.

I have to chime in on this one. I design video-on-demand systems for a living, and everytime I see one of those horrible, crappy video signals that Disney pumps into our rooms, I just cringe.

I've been looking at that horrible cable plant for 15 years, and even offered to come down and balanace out it out for free. But that's not going to happen.

I did hear that they are trying a VOD trial over at the CR. Maybe they will move into the 21st century sometime in the very near future!

They really just need to go hi def.
It's like going back to the stone age watching analog! We tried to watch football playoffs last year, and it was like I needed to set on the TV to see it.
