Which country has the best valued sit-down restaurant in EPCOT's World Showcase?

<font size=6>"Best valued" means the best and most abundant food for the most reasonable cost?</font>

(Since some countries have more than one, if you choose one of those countries, please make a reply to say which restaurant you are voting for.)

I'm interested in watching this poll develop - great thread! I said Norway/Akershus; a buffet is going to give you a great bang for your buck, but Norway gets the nod from me just because it's unique without being too exotic. You can easily eat yourself into a stupor if you're so inclined.

Other than Germany and Norway, I'd say Morocco if you want to be a little adventurous, and Canada if you want red meat. Both good, but very different from each other. Portion sizes and prices are very competitive by Epcot standards, and we've tried 'em all.

Dang, I guess I just like everything.

You won't leave hungry and with empty pockets from China...unless you don't like the food...which you can pretty easily do.

Moracco has a great variety, fair prices and we've never left there hungry!

Norway brings out the extremes in people. You either love it or dont care for it at all. We love it. It is a wonderful buffet.

We hated the buffet at Norway, but based on the question had to vote for that since they do have the lowest price and they are a buffet (which means unlimited food).

We are pretty adventurous eaters, too, but just did not care for the food here.

The question text is limited in size. So I had to put the meaning of "best-valued" in the text of a note, and it seems that it is not being noticed. So to clarify, I am repeating what I mean here.

<font size=5>"Best valued" means the best and most abundant food for the most reasonable cost?</font>

In particular, it does NOT mean simply the most food for the money. The quality of the food is one of the criteria.

Norway's buffet was interesting and had something for everyone. Their potato salad was the best I've ever tasted. And how can you complain when salmon is part of the deal? Their selection of cheeses and breads were plentiful and the meatballs were delicious. Believe it or not, I CAN understand people being hesitant about trying the food (I was one!). But, after feeling adventurous one early evening, I ambled into a Norwegian castle fortress, sat at a quaint table next to a white curtained window, and enjoyed all there was to offer. Plus the hostesses were lovely to talk with. All in all, a most pleasurable experience and my vote for best value! :D
Happy Holidays to all, Wilma

We're up to 71 votes now ...

Norway way out ahead as our value-leader with 22.

Germany and Canada neck and neck with about half as many as Norway.

Morocco has slipped back from its early run for second place and is now being challenged for fourth place by Japan and Mexico.

And at the other end, England and Italy have yet to even find anyone to vote for them as value leaders, while France has found only 2, and China has only 3.
