Yup, that's us. Still unhappy that Splash is closed for our Nov. 1-10 trip. Would have scheduled for different dates if I'd known in advance it was closed.Frontierland. We get FPs for Fantasyland early afternoon and hit BTMR and Splash at RD when we can get a couple of walk on rides for each. We do sometimes hit JC on the way, but we’re really trying to get to BTMR quickly. The next day at MK we hit Tomorrowland at RD
Same here! Those are very popular rides....I like to do those first. We always head straight to splash and big thunder first.Big Thunder and Splash are our favourite rides at MK so we head straight to Frontierland to hit each of those a couple of times.
You forgot one, Main Street. This is where my wife and I greet the Magic Kingdom, get our first view of the castle, our senses are awakened by the smells and sounds of what we like to call the "We're Back" feeling. You have characters, sometimes the babershop quartet singing, possibly a parade, the shops, popcorn, a candy treat. I also get my Mickey ice cream from the vendor just as we enter the park. Sitting on the rocking chairs and watching as families first enter the park. We spend at least an hour just on Main Street. I should point out that my wife and I are in our 60's, we go now without children or grandchildren. We don't do fast passes because we choose to slow down and really enjoy the "Park" rather than rushing from one ride to the next. Yes, I have been there with children many times and I understand the need to keep the kids happy. We have found that just the two of us, we can now slow down and really enjoy all the park has to offer at our own pace. My vote goes for Main Street because that is where the Magic truly begins.
Plus, how can you do any of those other lands without at least experiencing Main Street USA on your way in? I mean, yeah, lots of folks are determined to get somewhere ASAP... but there's still THAT VIEW!You forgot one, Main Street.
