It could be fun and informational to know what our respective tastes are.

I prefer fine dining but will occasionally do a character BF or buffet.

What I think is reasonable may be crazy expensive to someone else. And what they think is just fine may be airline fare to me.Food is all about personal tastes:rotfl: after all

FYI poll will allow multiple choices:)

Because i travel with a little one we stick to 1 TS or Buffet style places. This trip Dh and I may do a signature place while she is at a Kids Club, but we prefer to use our alone time to hit the parks and ride things together that DD is too short for

We love Victoria & Alberts, and Citricos! Great food, quiet atmosphere, and wonderful servers...... pamper me, baby! :thumbsup2

Actually we're number #1 AND #2. We haven't done a buffet or CS dinner in years and except for an occasional stray (like Raglan Road, etc) we stick to the Signature dining spots.

We like one table service credit meals. We are not "fancy" eaters at all. Don't like food with all the fancy stuff all over the plate, sauces, etc. Plus, we have our share of fine dining restaurants at home, and we don't want to be dressing up on vacation.

We like our LeCellier, Biergarten, Yak & Yeti type places, with a couple of character meals thrown in.

DH and I are a mix, we enjoy CS, we love 1TS and lately have been branching out to the 2TS like Jiko, FF, YM etc...when we go in June we are going to give Cali Grill a try....

I voted for 2, but this better describes my dining habits at WDW.

My DD with have just turned 2 when we go. Sticking to one TS a day is more than enough with her! When she is done, she is done, and you can no longer enjoy your meal. We are not that hard to please when it comes to food, so I think regular TS meals will be just fine for us. We do have a sitter for a night, and are going to Cali Grill.

We do a lot of 1TS and Buffets. I love seeing the characters and DFi loves the food at most of them. We're trying some signature places on our next trip, but maybe they could have Mickey come meet me at Jiko for dinner that would make me <3 signature dining.

I like the signature restaurants, on my next trip I will go to all of them. Then again I also like Le Cellier and Sci Fi as well and the buffets its all good to me.

The 1TS is fine for us, but we have booked mostly buffets. Makes it simpler with 6 of us to be able to find what we want. If you are really hungry, you can go for it, if not....take it easy and go for salads. Plus, we want the interaction with the characters. Means we don't have to focus on that in the parks. I've booked a TS meal at least once a day for our next trip. We've never done that before, but then we are forced to sit down and enjoy a meal together without just rushing around the park.

Tough one, because there is a gap between what kind of diner I AM and what kind of diner I'd LIKE to be. Finances, y'know. :confused3

Having said that ... if I were on the DDP, I think I'd rather visit a variety of places as opposed to using 2 credits at one place.

If it were just DW and me, I'd go more the signature route. But we're never at WDW without a mob in tow, it seems, which is fine.

I LOVE fine dining and get it a lot where I live. I'm in NJ about 5 minutes from Philadelphia. I can go to NYC. LOTS of options for fine dining. I love regular dining also. I do NOT do buffets at home. I'm not a buffet fan but something about WDW buffet's I do like. I actually think the food is really good!! :thumbsup2 Maybe it's just me being so happy I don't care. :rotfl:

But while at WDW we stick mostly to character meals which are buffet style. While at WDW we immerse ourselves in what we consider the full magic. Character meals are one of them. The kids LOVE them and so do DH and I.

For our 8 day trip we have 7 character meals. And LeCellier.

If DH and I ever come alone we may do one character meal and try more 2 TS meals. But for now, with the kids, we do the character meals which are buffet style.

I guess it would depend on who I'm with.

When we take the kids we tend to stick to character buffets and other 1TS meals with some CS as well.

However, DH and I are going back in October with the Deluxe plan and will be doing many signature meals and are really looking forward to it.

I am also not a fan of buffets at all. However, while in Disney we will not hesitate to eat at a buffet as most are very good.

We love the character buffets...Though on our trip last September we tried Narcoossee's and will definitley be going again(free dining helps!!).:cool1: :thumbsup2

We stick to a combo of 3 and 4. Our daughter is 2 1/2, so we stay away from the signature dining out of respect for the other patrons. We do a character breakfast buffet each morning.

We used to do nothing but V&A, Bistro, bluezoo and a rotation of signatures but after so many trips, that has gotten boring. So we branched out and added buffets and even counter services and we find that we enjoy many of those quite a bit too.

So, on the poll, I would have marked "other" but it wasn't there.

I like a mix of both 1TS and 2TS..nothing stuffy though.

I enjoy the 1TS places that have themes that I can't find at home. Love the character meals. We enjoy places like Sci Fi and Prime Time and O'Hana that have something besides food to keep us happy. I do enjoy the occasional 2TS place. Yachtsmen is my favorite. If we do the DDP, we always do at least one 2TS place so that we have at least one day where we don't have an ADR and can catch up on our cs credits. My daughter is 12 and a light eater so she almost always shares off my plate at cs which leaves us lots of credits we have to use up.

I also enjoy snacking at WDW, at Epcot in particular. I love to graze my way around the World Showcase!

Buffets are great for us because my son is 14 and eats his weight in food and he can really get MY money's worth at those buffets. The variety of a WDW buffet really is great for my family so we do probably about two thirds of our ts meals at them. Which is funny because I am not a big lover of buffets in the real world!

For dinner, like Uncle Romulous...we stick the the signature dining experiences. We do love Raglan Road as well.

For breakfast...we do hit buffets (Boma and Gullivers). The food is good and they are quick to get in and out of.
