What a fun poll!

I chose 'Other'. But only because I couldn't pick just one! I love being at my Disney resort, the feeling I get when I first walk into a park, all the sights and smells of Disney World, the rides, the food, taking pictures and videos, coming back to the resort room after a long exciting day in the parks, seeing the 'Welcome' signs, riding the resort busses, the night time shows, the monorail, shopping... And the list goes on! I even like when I get back home and I can share my adventures with my family and friends!

My vote was other.

I most look forward to unobstructed (by work, housework, bills etc.) time spent enjoying my vacation with my kids.

I voted other - DH and I were talking today about this very subject.

Disney makes it so easy for families to enjoy just being together.

They make it easy to pay for, where else can you have "lay-away" payment plans for your vacation? They provide a clean, safe environment with constant forms of entertainment. They handle all your transportation and make getting there a breeze. They offer a huge variety of resorts and restaurants to please just about any family. They also make our beds and change the toilet paper daily and I honestly think they very much care that we have a wonderful experience.

How do you go about the lay-a-way plan? I think that may be what I need to look into. :confused3

Towards the end of the evening - when all is said and pretty much done - I thoroughly enjoy getting an ice cream on main street and sitting at the cafe tables around the corner - you know the ones - that are on the right side of the street at the end of main street toward the castle - a nice quiet out of the way spot - and sitting there relaxing and enjoying my ice cream and watching the castle change colors as I reflect on the day - while all the hoards of people are leaving the park.

As much as I love the characters, the resorts, the family time, the food, I am a RIDE JUNKIE!!!! That is my favorite part of the trip and I make our itinerary around the rides!!!! :thumbsup2

In March I booked room only thru Magical Journeys for our upcoming January trip. I began making payments towards the balance due. My TA keeps my debit card on file and I shoot her off an e-mail telling her to make another payment for $X and then she e-mails me with my adjusted balance due.

When I view my bank acct. activity I can see the transaction as it goes thru Disney and not MJ, works out great and seeing the Disney transaction gives me a measure of comfort.

Last year I booked us in August for that December thru WDW travel and I made payments on my package so that when I got to the 45 day mark, I owed less than $100 on the whole thing. I would just call and they would mail me a new invoice with the adjusted balance.

Dreaming about going, planning every detail, and praying and hoping beyond hope that my family would love it as much as me......and then seeing the pure pleasure in their eyes as we went through every section at Disney World, and knowing we were all on the same wave length - totally in awe of the details, the feeling of being in a place away from our reality and connecting as a family...

 Pure family togetherness! Pure magic!!! :sunny:

Spending time together as a family with no work or school pressures. The very best part is having my 15 yo dd get so excited and happy that she holds my hand and calls me "Mommy." It's one place she really acts like a little kid again and I love that glimpse into our past.

I voted for a particular park as we always count the days until we can return to magic kingdom :sunny:

Mostly I look forward to spending quality time with my family. Especially my teenagers, in WDW they can still be kids without worring what other people think. Disney truly is magical. I love to watch them interact with each other, their baby sister and the characters. Once in awhile DH and I even get a hug. :thumbsup2

I love the whole ambience of Disney World. All of those choices play an integral role in what makes it so special.

The looks on our faces, and that HUGE smile when we enter the WDW property.

The two things that make me most exited to go is the following: The Rides & Atmosphere. Its all great and wonderful and.... doesnt happen that often, so its really special to me. I'm glad I am going back to WDW. Its been years.
