I am writing you today to ask that you do not close the Virtual Magic Kingdom. I was saddened and truly disappointed to hear yesterday that you are ending our virtual park. I could go on about how great is VMK. About all the fun I have walking and playing in a virtual
Disneyland. I could go on about hanging out on-line in a safe and positive environment with other Disney fanatics. I could talk about the friendships I have made and the Disney themed memories I will always cherish.
But I think I will keep this cynically short and simple. Any on-line venture costs money. I am a 35 year-old adult with no kids and I daily use my Disney Platinum Visa card. Because of VMK I still have my DLR Premium Annual Passport, and since joining VMK two years ago I have gone to the park on an average of once a month. I've purchased literally dozens of VMK Pirate Pins boxes and had planned to continue buying them. I had purchased and would continue to purchase Disney DVDs just for the VMK Movie Rewards. I would love the opportunity to buy packs of VMK Code Cards like baseball cards.
I would be willing to pay a monthly or annual fee to play VMK.
I know VMK was created to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland, but I urge you to reconsider your plans to close VMK. Think how great it will be to celebrate DLR's 100th Anniversary with VMK's 50th!
Sincerely,
