Poll/Suggestions Zoo Tag Swap

Our zoo is 25 minutes away....and we visit there 3-4 times a month.... always something new.. We need to go down on Sunday...because they opened the new Oceans building and we can now "pet" sharks!!! Woo hoo! That'll be the closest I ever have my kids to sharks...let alone myself!

That's neat! My youngest has been fascinated by sharks for years, ever since my Dad told her a story about a man who was leg was bitten off by a shark and survived (why he told her that story, I have no idea.) She was beyond thrilled when she learned she could swim with the sharks at Typhoon Lagoon on our last Disney trip. I have no pictures of the sharks of course, but I have some great pictures of her snorkeling across the pool! She did so good!

Sign ups for the Zoo swap will be on July 6th... and since I'm also hosting the Show and Parades swap, I'm going to open those signs up on July 6th also (different thread~ obviously) so that I can get some last minute things done on the 9th for a meeting we have that night....

Kat - isn't Arizona one of those places that doesn't do daylight savings time? So would it be 2 OR 3 hours anyway depending on the time of year?

I crack myself up - I've traveled for work for 8 years (about to stop regular travel) and always get messed up when in AZ (coming for training to scottsdale though in August).

I just had to throw in my 2 cents - sorry

yup. and trust me it throws me off big time and I live here. Right now we are 3 hours behind eastern. But in the fall we only will be 2 hours behind and 1 hour ahead of western.
