Before I say anything, I want to make sure I am 100% correct.

What do you consider the 2nd week in December to be?

I consider whatever is teh "second line down" on my calender to be the "2nd week" of any month. that's teh 4-10

the 2nd FULL week of dec is 11-17

IMO

Second line starting from what day? Sunday? This week is not a "line" in Dec. unless you start at Thursday.

::yes::

Well that's a good question!! I don't know what i would think.

Maybe Dec. 11-17 cause it's the 2nd full week

That is a good question. :confused3

Unless you say the second Monday or the second weekend it's very easy to interpret differently.

very interesting. didn't notice this until you brought it to my attention

11-17

Thursday, Friday and Saturday would not be considered a week. A week is Sunday through Saturday.

I would say the 4-10. The first week is just an abbreviated week.

Would you say Jan. 29-31 is the last week of January?

hmmm....interesting....

Me, personally, I would say the 11th - 17th. Simply because December 1-3 doesn't come close to making a week.

But that's just me....

The "second line" on the calender of dates, to me, is the 4-10. it is in fact the 2nd week IN december to me...

everyone intereprets it differently evidently

ok 0- i spaced that calendar out so pretty above...but it just didn't post correctly

A week is 7 days right....so then the 2nd week of December is the 11th-17th. Just my opinion though. ;) :flower:

If someone asked me what the 2nd week in December was, I'd say the 8th thru the 14th, regardless of what day of the week it starts on. If they meant 2nd calendar week, I'd assume 2nd FULL calendar week, so the 11th to the 17th.

But that's just me :earboy2:

I say the 11 - 17. Just had a similar conversation with a friend.... she forgot to put the materials for a project for her DD class in her DD's backapck today ~ the materials were due 12/1 for a project to be done in class the 1st week of December. I told her it would be done in class next week, to just pass them in tomorrow(1st full week of December) and she insisted it would be done today since today this is the first week of December. :confused3

WOW I would of thought this was more black and white, I guess not.

To me, a week STARTS on Sunday, so the 1st week of any month has to start on a Sunday.

Well, I guess I can't get frustrated at my Dh then. :teeth:
