It is also cherry blossom season. Are there cherry blossoms where you live?

Ours are not opened yet. The Bradford Pear trees with lovely white blossoms are out now, as are forsythia bushes. Many magnolia trees were hurt by the late frost, but somehow, some made it through and are blooming as well. Some magnolias just have brown, spoiled blooms, so sad!

Trees haven't even started to bud up here. The birds are out though, so that counts for something!

We don't have many cherry blossoms in Ottawa. Lilac bushes are abundant later this spring - closer to the end of May.

I wish we had many of the different trees, and plants that you folks have where you live.

The cherry blossom trees here were in bloom. We have a few of them ourselves.
