Poll: Obnoxious Bed Coverings?

Last week when my son and I were looking at the rooms of all the resorts on line, I couldn't believe the clashing patterns some of the rooms had. I mean, some of the wallpaper was unbelievable and then there would be an equally garish bedspread. I was trying to figure out if the bedspread and wallpaper were having a contest to see who was the ugliest.

Yes, they're heinous...we're staying GF and would hope w/ the $ we're paying they could get a more tasteful pattern...but my DH (who is picky...) actually thinks the "Alice" theming is cute haha!

I like to think of the bedspread in the same way I think of bowling shoes. They are so hidious in style that no one in there right mind would steal them

Do what we do hide them under the bed one day, then in the closet the next, then behind the door. Mousekeeping likes the challenge of finding them again.

I agree with you, I would probably steal one if they weren't so obnoxious.
You had me laughing with your hiding the spread game. I think we should all insititute that policy

That was my first thought--it's a Loss Prevention method. Make the bedspread so ugly that no one would want it. Well, and also to hide stains. not going there....

Most of them are not overly attractive but I was looking at pictures of the rooms at the Contemporary online and those have to be the most unattractive bedspreads I have ever seen. I had not seen pics of the rooms since the last rehab and I was shocked. I really hate the new look. I always wanted to stay at the Contemporary and it is still on my list on potential resorts for our next trip because of the monorail but the room decor is actually making me want to not stay there. Maybe it looks better in person?

Maybe its to disguise all of the germs and dirt that is on them. Here is how clueless my dh is. I said "don't let the kids touch the bedspread. They are really dirty." He said. "they wash them don't they?" I don't think so. Yuck

I like them in the rooms at Disney but wouldn't want one on my bed at home! They are fine where they are but would be yucko out of their element.
