Happened 1 time. Called MS and they sent a new one within a week. Wasn't a big deal.

Have checked in 3 times with no confirmation letter and had no issues.

This is a coincidence. I just called MS a few hours ago to inquire about a confirmation letter that hasn't arrived yet. I made the reservation about 3-4 weeks ago. The CM said, "Hmmm. That's weird. I wonder why they didn't request a confirmation to be sent to you." Anyway, he put in a request for it.

This happened to me a couple years ago. I called in, and soon I got 3 copies of the reservation in 3 different envelopes, all on the same day. :rotfl:

We booked AKV at the 7 month window. After about 5 months I realized we had not recieved anything saying we had booked the dining package. I
e-mailed MS about a month ago and asked for a confirmation letter. Still nothing. I guess I'll e-mail again after seeing this posting.

You know, I had not even noticed that! I will call MS and tell them I need my Confirmation letter.

One clarification: If you book a DVC resort the member site does list your confirmation number for the DVC resort . . . but not for the Disney Collection, Concierge, ABD, and World Passport bookings.

Although most members don't book much outside of DVC resorts, a lot of us do book DCL cruises and DL hotels on our points. Not having confirmation numbers for non-DVC resort bookings is a big problem - as the last thing you want to do is to show up at a non-DVC resort (or DCL) and try to prove to them that you have a booking with a printout of your DVC points activity as that won't mean anything to them. They will ask for confirmation numbers.

I beg to differ I have a reservation at Disneyland in June and the reservation number is showing on the member website.

This is a great questions because I am waiting for a confirmation letter right now. I always get one when I book our stay but I have not gotten one as my waitlist came in.
