I've sent in 1 postcard each per day for me, DH and DD 12, I've missed about 7 days of mailing in total since the start and my DD first won Mickey Ears, then DH and DD won Mickey Ears...then yesterday bot me and DD won more Ears, I got one and she got two, so our total of winnings are: 6 Mickey Ear Hats :rotfl: By this rate I guess we only need 2 more to outfit the entire family of 8 going this September...MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL, nephew 7 and the three of us...I guess by now you can easily say, you can win more then once! :)

I have won the lanyard pin set! Love it too!!! Hope to win the ears and something BIG next.. maybe the DVC!!!! I am just waiting for them to call me..:rotfl2:

I've sent at least one post card a day since Oct 1 except for the 2 weeks I was at Disneyworld. I've won three things, 2 lanyards and 1 mouse ears.

We've sent in one postcard approximately every day since the start. We alternate names each day between my name and DW's. With a few misses and a week off while at WDW, we've probably averaged 5 sent a week. We've won two lanyards and a set of ears. I've yet to see anyone posting about a mail in win for something other than ears and lanyards. Anyone out there with any other wins?

Good luck everyone!

Where do you get post cards?

We used the pre-stamped ones purchased from the U.S. postal service.

What's the address to enter?

See quote from rules below for mail in address.

Also, starting on September 18, 2006, eligible participants can enter without being present in a Disney Property by writing their full name, complete mailing address (including postal code), daytime telephone number (including area code), and date of birth on a 3.5"x5" postcard and sending it with proper postage affixed to: (i) if a legal resident of the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada or Mexico: P.O. Box 8629, Elmhurst, IL 60126; or (ii) if a legal resident of the United Kingdom: Disney Dream Giveaway, 483 Green Lanes, London N13 4BS. Participants may enter once per day during the Giveaway Period. All mail-in entries must be mailed separately, postmarked by December 31, 2007 and received by January 14, 2008 or they will be void.

I have mailed 6 postcards per week since the contest started and have not won anything yet. While I am happy for the people that have won, I'll be honest and say it's getting a bit irritating to see so many families that have won multiple times when there are so many others that have won nothing at all. I know that sounds like sour grapes, and I apologize (but I can't help the way I feel). I really think the fullfillment company should put a max on the number of prizes each household can win.

I missed the first few weeks of the contest in October, and a day here or there, but since have mailed 98 cards....and have not won anything. I have sent the cards in different names of our 4 member family, but never more than 1 per name per day. My total investment ( not including gas to mail them ) was $26 for 100 cards.
Now that I am looking at my last 2 cards, I guess I will cave and buy another 50..but that is my limit. It is fun to play, but I agree, seeing others win multiple times can start to overshadow the fun, and once it isn't fun then it's not my kind of thing anymore. There will be something else we can look forward to after YOAMD, stay positive everyone!

I just started sending them today. One for each of us (3). I decided to invest $10 into this. That way if I don't win I won't feel too badly (like playing the lottery), but if I win it will be so sweet! $10 got me 38 postcards. I printed on the fronts and backs of my postcards from my computer, but didn't calculate ink cost or anything like that. I even put a little Mickey (the one that is my Avatar) on the front and back! I am guessing it takes a while to get your prize, so don't lose faith!!

I have sent in a card every day since its started & have won nothing yet.:sad1:

I've probably sent about 35 or so. I usually do one for me and one for DH and mail out 2-3 times a weeks more or less. We haven't won anything.:sad2: I'm not organized enough to mail out more but I sure would like to win something.

I'd say I've sent in a little more than 50 cards, and I've won one pin and lanyard set about a month ago. I'm sticking in it till I win the ears, if it's possible. I do understand the frustration for those who haven't won anything, because it does seem like a lot of families are winning multiple of multiple prizes...not just two or three, but half a dozen or more. It's great for the families who "need" them (like the family trying to get a set of ears for the 8 members of their party), but it makes me sad to see so many of them up on eBay, especially when I know there are people here diligently sending out postcards who haven't won anything.

Quick question though: I could've sworn the entries had to be hand written, at least on the back. Does anyone have clarification on that?

The rules say:

by writing their full name, complete mailing address (including postal code), daytime telephone number (including area code), and date of birth on a 3.5"x5" postcard and sending it

To me the term writing means handwritten and if someone is sending entries that are typed and has not won that could be the reason. Judging agencies often frown on what they consider "mechancial entries" such as typing or labels.

I have been hand writing...using a black ink. I know some decorate their cards...I have been doing just the basic info. Maybe that's it, I am not creative enough?:confused3

I sent 20 when the contest first begain till I ran out and then my trip and Christmas came so I didn't send anymore. I won a laynard in January! :cool1:

No it's not that, it still comes back to the basic of "LUCK OF THE DRAW". While decorating may make someone feel their entry is luckier it really doesn't make that big of a difference. Luck still plays the biggest factor.

I just started sending postcards out last month. I'm sending 20. I haven't won anything yet.
