Good thing rinkwide doesn't read this board!!! :rotfl2:

Background.

We had tons of left over credits, both CS and Snack the first time we used this plan. I wonder if others end up with extras too. I guess I could have added options for "noticed at some point we were not keeping up and made an effort to use them up..."

We didn't waste them :teeth: We brought lots of food on the road with us. But we had 7 CS and I think 11 Snack credits after 10 nights with 2 Adults and 2 kids. I think I paid for two breakfasts before I realized I didn't need to save the credits for lunch. I never had room for lunch after my 11am Mickey Bar

Yeah, we had 14 snack credits left on our last day. Considering the expansion of uses for snack credits, I doubt we'll have that problem this time. I'll likely be using snack credits to supplement breakfast.

Thanks for the poll! I think it will be very helpful for those on the fence.

Also, thanks for editing the title before rinky saw it! :rolleyes1

On my poll responses:
We did a 5-night trip in May (2A/1C), and we had 6 CSs and 3 snacks left when we checked out. That was partially caused by DW's illness the first day and partly by the fact that we don't normally CS much anyway.

No big deal. We had lunch at Earl of Sandwich (3CS).

Then we went back thru the line, got 3 sandwiches, cookies, and drinks to go, plus 3 more cookies with the snack credits.

Because we only had a 4-hour drive home, we saved the sandwiches and cookies (had a cooler in the car anyway) and ate them at home. If we'd been flying, the sandwiches would have been perfect for the plane.

On our January trip we actually used all of the CS and Snack but lost out on 4 TS's ( not my fault) .We booked the last meal for CRT(BREAKFAST) and was told by Concierge that it was 2 credits per person, I thought it was only one and come to find out I was right ( as 2credits didn't take effect until Feb .) So after our breakfast at CRT ,I looked at the receipt and saw we still had 4TS's to use unfortunately we couldn't because we had an adr for Chef Mickey's that evening and then home the next am ( 8:30 am flight)

We had one TS left that we gave away to the people sitting next to us at Boma's. DS wouldn't eat what they had at the Maya Grill, so they let him eat a pizza we used a CS for at the Pepper Market. We brought home lots of rice krispie treats with our left over snack credits. We were carrying britta bottles, so we didn't use them for drinks until about 1/2 way through the trip. THere is also just so much "snacks" you will let your kids eat in a day! We were there for 10 days, and went to the parks for 4 days and water parks for 2 days, to that was 4 days of snacks. There was no reason to purchase snacks at the water parks.

DH wants to use all his snack credits at the Goofy Candy store in DD this August!

Nothing leftover, ever! We always have more ADR's than credits! And we usually do one or two signature restaurants. I could never understand having snack credits leftover either because I'm always thirsty at WDW and those snack credits go fast when your using them for water or soda!

We had more TS meals than credits. So we paid for a few meals out of pocket. We used all the snacks on ice cream and water/soda. We had about 6 CS left over - I wish I would have had time to purchase some meals for other people but by the time I realized the surplus it was too late. Oh well. This year we hope to use every last credit. And have gutbusting good time doing it! :goodvibes

Our plan was to eat a small breakfast(cereal, fruit or yogurt) in the room. Use the CS credits for lunch and the TS credits for dinner. Turns out the breakfast stuff wasn't necessary. We brought back our desserts each night from our TS dinner. They ended up as breakfast the next morning. So, we ended up with more food than we could handle. We had 5 CS credits left and all our snack credits. We used the snack credits for rice krispie treats for DH's little league team. I never thought to use the CS credits for food for our trip home. So they went to waste. Oh well, I know better this year.

We had only snack credits left over, BUT this was before they changed the snack credit options!! I don't think we will have a problem at all this time;)

We ran out of snack credits but that's only because it was hot and we were buying lots of water and ice cream!!

We just got back on Sat. using the meal plan and ended perfectly with no credits leftover. Now the last two days I realized we needed to buckle down and really start downing those snack credits to use them all up!!!!!

We tried to mostly use the snack credits for to supplement a quick in room breakfast. We would buy muffins, danishes, milk, or fruit with them. But we still ended up having to use 9 credits for the last two days. The kids loved it. They each got a late night Mickey bar to finish up the credits the night before we left! :)

We thought we'd have one or two CSs leftover on the last day (there were 4 of us, and we didn't always stay together for CS meals), but we ended up with 3 leftover. We also had 5 snacks leftover, when I thought we might have two or three (we had a rule--pay OOP for snacks less than $2). So on the last day we had a CS and just paid OOP for one entree and drink. We also picked up cinnamon rolls from the Norway Bakery with our leftover snacks for the trip home.

The next time I will have to pay better attention to my CS credits cause we had a lot left. We had been having breakfast (brought from home) in our room most of the days, but in retrospect we could have gotten one or two more CS breakfast's from Sassagoula Food! Oh well, we gave a magical day to one family!

We only had credits left because we spent 4 days sick in our room without eating. Otherwise, we would have run out on the last day. :sad2:

Everything else came out perfect but we had extra snack credits last December. With the wider variety of snacks available I don't think it will be a problem this year!

We used our "extra" snack credits (11 of them) for Rice Krispie bars. The night before we left, DD and I went to MK Bakery to try and use up our CS credits by getting cinnamon buns, etc. for the trip home. We still had 8 CSs left unused. We ate lots and lots but still somehow never managed to use up all those CS credits. :confused3

I think it's because some of the CS places counted so much food as a meal that we "paid" less than we should have.
