Growing up my ds and I had to fold socks or iron (alternating weeks). I REALLY REALLY DO NOT LIKE to folD socks!!! I rather enjoy ironing though.

I guess maybe I'm just naive because it's just two of us, but I think it takes me about 1.5 hours to iron all of our shirts, shorts and pants and about 30 seconds to fold socks.

Then again, I don't fold socks by rolling the cuffs, I fold them, literally, matching up the pairs and folding them in half. Folding the cuffs of the socks ruins the stretch material quicker.

Neither. I ball up socks. They have yet to stretch out.

As for ironing? Anything that needs to be ironed is laundered at the dry cleaners so I don't have to iron. I can't remember the last time I ironed. Actually, I don't know where my iron is! lol

I must be sheltered. I did not know you fold socks. I always just roll them up into a ball.

I hate ironing though. Just about the only thing I iron is costumes. Everything else I take out of the dryer right away and hope for the best. I'm a jeans and t-shirt gal so this works fairly well for me.

I hate ironing. DH's shirts go to the cleaners to be washed/ironed. I will occasionally iron a special occasion thing. I iron my valances when I change them from the winter to the summer ones.

Socks...no biggie. I just sort of roll them up and tuck them inside each other.

After my carpal tunnel surgery years ago, I got the dr to tell DH that I could never lift an iron again!:lmao: I seriously dislike ironing. My girls outgrew outfits that I never got around to ironing. (no brag, just fact:sad2:). Sorting socks on the other hand is a breeze for me.:laundy:

ironing... what is this thing you talk about? :)

can't remember the last time I actually ironed anything and as for folding socks..nope not in this household. :)

I don't fold socks or iron anything. My day to day shirts are all polo shirts, no ironing required. My socks are all the same, no sorting or folding required. I actually have 3 types of socks, about a dozen pairs of day to day socks, about 6 pairs of athletic type socks and a couple of pairs of dress socks. All of thes types are the same.

I don't do either. All of my socks look the same, so I just toss them into a drawer. I haven't ironed anything in the past seven years. I live in t-shirts and shorts. For the t-shirts, I use Wrinkle Release. I don't buy anything else that requires ironing. I hate to iron and don't plan to ever do it again!
