Poll: Cape May Clambake or WCC with a Disney First Timer

Concidering taking DD14s bff with us in May. It will be her first time ever to Disney. Would you choose Whispering Canyon Cafe or Cape May Clambake for dinner (we would do the DDP if she comes). We'll be paying her expenses too. I already booked Kona, Nine Dragons, 1900 Park Faire and IPO is trying for 'Ohana dinner, and I have Sci Fi RFC and TREX for lunches if this helps. TIA

Between the two I would definitely say Cape May. I avoided choosing other as that would open up a whole new discussion.

I would not suggest either one. Those are the only 2 restaurants we have been to that I never care to go to again.
We had the skillet at WCC and the meats were fatty/gristly/unedible. The other foods were not fresh or warm. We hated to ask for more since we did not eat what was there, but looking back I definitely should have asked for a round of edible food. Our service was so bad (the only one we have ever had at the world) who knows how long it would have taken.
Cape May was a huge buffet of again not so warm or fresh foods. I was not impressed with the variety and actually disappointed with the desert selection.
The salads were the best thing at both locations.
If you are looking for an all you can eat experience, I would recommend Crystal Palace. There are long waits even with an ADR, but selection, quality, and service are great.
