Poll: Best Steakhouse at WDW

We ate at LeCellier in August.......I thought the steak was great!! DH actually liked Concourse better.

Despite its name, Le Cellier Steakhouse isn't really a steakhouse - it's a restaurant which includes a couple of steak entrees on its menu. The same could be said of many onsite restaurants which don't consider themselves steakhouses.

Shulas is a top class steakhouse, but you've already ruled that out. Yachtsman does a pretty good job and is a true steakhouse, with hanging meat and cut steaks on display and a full range of cuts on its menu.

I love them both. It really depends on what kind of atmosphere you're looking for.

LeCellier is in a theme park. As a result, it's more crowded, more rushed, and more hectic. That said, the food is wonderful and the staff is great.

Yachtsman, because it's in a hotel, is more relaxed. The food is also wonderful, but the restaurant itself is more spacious, it's a little bit fancier, it's much more relaxed, and you can take your time without feeling like you missing out on something.

You really can't go wrong with either one.

When we went (hubby and I only - our night out without the kiddos) to LeCellier we did not feel rushed at all. We went in, had drinks, appetizers and the cheddar soup - delicious. The steak was mouth-watering. Our service was good - not fantastic - although if you like to be left alone it would be perfect. We did not have dessert so I can not comment there...One other thing to consider is transportation and how it fits in to the rest of your schedule. Good luck and enjoy!
