yep. President. No joke, I've wanted to be the President of the US for pretty much my entire life. But if not President then maybe a governor.

I wouldn't get that with president. I wouldn't want to be president.

I really have no interest in a career in politics to be quite honest.
I am not the type of person who could handle a job like that, I can't handle much responsibility, and being a political leader is a huuuuge amount of responsibility.

Some of my political views are almost communistic.

I think that sometimes things just need to happen and not be voted on, and if its for the good of the people in the long run, I think its okay if someone just steps up to the plate and says "this, this and this need to happen right now"

I don't feel that way about everything, but some things, yes I do.

People have told me I should go into politics, but I never would. I know where I stand on most political issues, but it's way too cut-throat for me. I'm just too mellow.

I'm normally incredibly passive, but when you're on that floor and someone stands up and totally disagrees with you, all of that passitivity goes away, and you just want everyone in that room to agree with you, and you'll use every argument you can come up with to make that happen. Its really an amazing feeling.

Or perhaps one of the former soviet states. Heck Russia is going right back into communisim anyway, maybe I can get my share.

BTW what I meant by more of a dictator, is that we have some thigns that just NEED to get done, that arn't getting done. I think we could use someone in office with the junk to make it happen, giving the big one finger salute to all the corporations who don't like it.

We had a debate in my social studies class once. We were on teams and I was the closing argument. People were actually surprised at how well I did since I'm normally really quiet. I totally know what you mean, though. Once you're up there, it's great. I used to want to go into politics, but something turned me off.

Methinks I should watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington again.

I think that someone should go to every american car company and say "I want __% of your vehicles produced to be hybred by the year _____"

I think that someone should go to the schools and say "I want you to recycle __% of your waste starting now"

I think someone should go to all the restaurants/food destributors/factories/stores and say "I want you to recycle everything possible starting now."

Those things don't need to be voted on.

I'm not a big fan of the political system as it stands, I think it could do with a revamping.

But, since I can't change it by myself, I might as well become part of it and, in my opinion, stop the problem from getting any worse.
