I've been around long enough that I know this will end up getting nasty, but lets try to be more mature than the CB about this?

State your political views. I don't just mean "democrat v rep", "lib v conservative" I mean, really, delve into it.

Discuss laws, bills, discuss what you think about current leaders. Discuss what you would do if you had power. Discuss what you believe should be done about situations.

So, have at it. Politically, where do you stand?

OK, the whole troops in Iraq-- They should leave.

The next president is going to have tons of "cleaning up" to do and I will respect that man/woman a lot.

The law -- i have few problems with it.

If I had power currently I'd give it up. This iraq and afghan war is so much I couldn't deal with it.

The Death Penalty should be banished. Period.

Homosexuals should be legally married in EVERY STATE!

Politically, I stand, erm, where there's changes needing to be done. Major changes.

I consider myself a conservative. I'm also a republican.

I feel as though homosexuality should not be allowed here in the United States. Not only is it wrong, but if it were to be become a right, then other types of marriages would be too, like Polygamy. All of which destroy peoples physical, emotional, and mental health. If it were acceptable, then I think the animal kingdom would be doing it too, which they're not. I find them all completely disgusting. (I know I'll get comments, but that is how I feel about it.)

The death penalty, is wrong in that I don't think a person has a right to sentence someone to death. I think that a lifetime sentence in prison, is a better choice.

Abortion is wrong. It kills babies and it also scars a mother physically, emotionally, and mentally for life.

The border problem is bad too. The illegals are eating up are tax dollars. Something needs to be put into place.

I'm not trying to attack you. I want to state that upfront.

I have several problems with this post.

I'll start at the top and work my way down.

You say 'homosexuality shouldn't be allowed' how do you intend to stop me from kissing a woman? That is a homosexual act. What, are you going to make it illegal?

Doesn't sound like a good idea for the land of the free and the home of the brave.

How does homosexuality "destroys peoples physical, emotional, and mental health"? If I kiss a woman, how does that hurt you? How does that hurt me? I'm emotionally sound, I'm mentally sound, no matter who I'm kissing.

You say animals aren't homosexual. Have you studied the field? Because they are. I have two lesbian cats. Animals are gay, too.

You find them disgusting, but I find most straight couples who are making out in public disgusting too.

Once again, I'm not trying to attack you, but I've studdied homosexuality to the nth degree. I know what it is, I know why it happens, I know its not a choice.

Your opinions sound like that of someone who doesn't really understand it.

I feel that we shouldn't pull out of Iraq just yet.It's still too hard for Iraqis to live without the troops.Iraq poliece has to step up though,big time,and help us out.We need a clear plan for Iraq,that is certain.Iraq will turn into another Vietnam or Korea in my opinion if we pull out too soon. We made a comitment to the US public as well as the Iraqi public to keep them safe when we went.

I believe Gay and Lesbian couples should be able to have the same rights as married couples,but their union shouldn't be called marriage,something else because the definition of marriage is a union between a man and a woman.

-Family of the Victim gets final say as to what happens, if they say death, the person gets death, if they say life, the person gets life.
-Make it quick, no more 18 years on Death Row, 2 years max.
-Make it mandatory for Brutal Murderers, Child Molestors and Rapists (this will not apply to someone who was convicted of statutory rape between two consenting people, that means the parents messed up in raising their kids, the 17 year old shouldnt have to lose his life over it. The father should beat the crap out of him though.)
-Abortion doctors will get the death penalty as well.

Well, the jury could give the verdict of guilty or innocent, but i think the family of the victim should decide whether or not the person lives or dies if he is convicted of being guilty.

Bush has made this world chaos. He got himself into the war and now he is completly boggled as to what to do.

People say that the world is not ready for a woman President. Why, Hilary Clinton is a great Senator and helped her husband through a lot of conteraversies (sp). What is sooo different about a woman and a man politically? Sometimes men make spur of the moment desicions. But with most women they think things through and look at the bigger picture.

Homosexuality is fine with me. When humans were put on this earth nobody told them how to act. We made our life. If we hadn't chose to disipline ourselves everything would be utter madness. We chose to say a man should go with a women. Now what makes that the right thing to do. Nothing really. If you love someone, you should be able to get married. Period.

Abortion is murder. Final.

About the war. Bush got into it, I think wanting to do the right thing. But now, he is boggled and doesn't know what to do. He does not want to pull out and make the US look bad. He has the right intentions, he is just going about them completly wrong.

Like someone said, the next president, a man or a woman, will have a lot of cleaning up to do.
