I just participated in a Young Republican vs. Young Democrat debate this past Friday, and I must say that both sides had some very convincing points. After the debate I was told by many that they find these debates very informing and they think that it is important for people to know why they are voting for their candidate. So this is my question to Kerry and Bush supporters alike:
Why is it that your candidate is best suited for president of the United States of America? And there's only one rule: don't mention the other candidate in your explanation. No 'well kerry's a flip flopper' or 'bush drove our country into debt'. I wanna hear what each candidate has to offer without bashing the other candidate.
I will say one more thing: I'm staying out of this one. I've debated over the issue countless times, both online and in real life. I will cheer for my candidate as well as respect those who cheer for his opponent.
At least we can be assured it will be over by next year...if any recount takes place...
