I'm sick to death of BOTH candidates ranting on and on and ON about useless information like who did what in which war and who has the most medals and what color are they.


My question is ...........what ARE the candidates platforms? What are each of them hoping to do during their terms in office?

Is there a website that has unmuddled information or can anyone here convey what each party's goals are? Any sites I've been to have been "let's trash the OTHER guy"....I have no patience for that garbage and I know there are others who would appreciate knowing more before getting out to vote.

Although I know who I'm voting for, I agree with you completely. I'm hoping both candidates show more maturity or professionalism or whatever during the debates.

I know who I'm voting for too. LOL
I am just so disappointed by the lack of substantial disclosure about the issues.

Instead they're going at this election as if it's one big Jerry Springer episode...it's really almost insulting to see them doing this. Too bad there isn't a third party I could vote for because I'd seriously consider it what with the shenanigans these two are pulling. (no, Ralph doesn't count )

Smear and Fear that is what both of those running are using to try and get elected and it sucks what ever happened to real issues like deficits and healthcare etc I feel bad for you guys it seems you will lose no matter who ends up winning.

I think there is plenty of information if you look -- I think I pretty much know how the candidates stand on at least the things that are important to me. ThAnswr gave a good place to start; do a google search and you'll be on your way! We can't rely on commercials or even newspapers to give us what we need to know.

I don't know what we did before the internet! I think we when I was younger, the news media was a lot less concerned with entertaining us and better at informing us.
