You know you can turn off signatures, right?

It'll probably be easier to just turn signatures off. With less than a month to go, most folks aren't likely to change their sigs at this point.

Not all of us are Americans. Besides, the Bill of Rights only restricts the government, not private entities. The owners of this board could quite legally restrict our speech or even insert political statements into signatures or whatever else with no recourse on the part of the user.

To an extent, I do agree with the OP that this place is a nice refuge from the political onslaught. That being said, as long as the images or statements aren't overpowering to the content of a post, I don't really mind...I tune them all out just like I do all the signs and bumper stickers.

I can't imagine me posting a message like mine above going over any better then the one you posted.

Honestly...this is a place for people to express themselves. There are massive amounts of threads NOT RELATED to Disney. The DISboards are a place for all people from all over to have a place to enjoy a common bond, Disney.

That doesn't mean people need to stop expressing themselves about other things that affect them. If people want to have pictures of their family, banners, weight trackers etc who are we to ask that they not have them?

You have the power to correct your own problem with this issue. Just as other posters have stated:
