Hi Folks!

We are headed back to the world in Nov. Our tradition is to enjoy our first meal at Sanaa. Here's what we usually do:

Book a 2:00ish pm ressie. If we get in early or are hungry, I usually call reservations and ask if we can get an earlier seating. In the past, it worked for us, not that we count on it. (We stay at POP but have a car.)

With the new system, am I able to do this or does a same-day time change = a penalty?

Thanks!

Thank you! The system, unless I overlooked it, doesn't really say anything about time change requests. And I don't want to pay extra! ;-)

One thing to be sure of if you do get in earlier is check with the podium at check in and be sure they removed you from your later reservation. I have heard some people say that while they got a change to an earlier time or even a later time through the reservation system, it didnt remove the previous one causing them to be charged. It was easily reversed with a phone call when they found out but it has happened.

Do it when you are actually at the restaurant, or call WDW-DINE and speak to a human. Do NOT cancel your current reservation online and rebook an earlier one. That is going to be a late cancellation.
