Polar Patios at Blizzard Beach

Hello, I tried searching the threads but couldn't really find any information newer than 2013, so I am hoping someone has more up to date information.

We will be at WDW in late June and would like to reserve a Polar Patio at Blizzard Beach.

Does any one have recommendations on which ones are better than others? ie. located closer to main pool, closer to food, closer to bathrooms. Photos would be great as well!

I know at Typhoon Lagoon they are numbered and I would know which ones to recommend as we were just there last year, but it has been several years since we have been to BB and have never rented a patio there.

No offense, but I am not really looking to debate whether or not to get one, just looking for recommendations from fellow DISboard members who had used them in the past...

Hi we booked one of these several years ago. As far as location we were right next to the lazy river which had a nice view and the soda center was close by. We were also just a minute away from the wave pool and the giant slide. The waitress brought us our meal and I'm not sure where the nearest food kiosk was just because we never had to go there. I would ask for one by the lazy river if I were you. Hope this helps

Most of them are between the lazy river and the wave pool - lower numbers are closer to the water slides and higher ones are by the wave pool/closer to the lazy river entrance. I'd recommend a lower number one (I think we had #3) which seems to be more centrally located (right next to the bridge) but not really that far from the wave pool.

We have a patio booked for our upcoming trip as well. I have been wondering about tipping. Are gratuities included? If not do you tip based on the food you order or the total price of the cabana?

My family and I were also talking about renting a PP at BB for our upcoming October trip. How far in advance can you call to reserve one?

We booked in April for late August ... I'm pretty sure it's 180 days.

When we went I didn't make a request but can't hurt to ask.

Also, I believe you can reserve for 1/2 day.
