Points used for cruises...

Has anyone used their points for Disney Cruise line? And if you did, were you able to be picked up by the Disney Cruise Line bus from your Disney resort?

Have been on seven DCLs and used points for six of them. We have always driven to the port so I am unable to help with the second part of your question.

Disney Cruise line bus transportation will pick you up either at MCO or any resort. They will also take you back to a resort or to MCO.

Cost is $70 per person roundtrip, so it can be very expensive for a family, but it truly is just like Magic Express. Hassle free! They take care of your luggage, next time you see it is in your stateroom.

Another downside is arriving to port. Disney buses pick up at resorts usually between 11-12 so you don't arrive to the port until around 2. Check is a breeze and usually can board soon after that though, not much waiting around. If you drive, boarding can start around 12 depending on check in and you get to enjoy the ship more!
