Points Transfer Wanted for Beach Club Villas (BCV)

I'm a DVC member at the Beach Club (BCV). We are planning a large family trip for December 3-10/11, 2011. I am looking to get a points transfer down the road where we can use the points to book at 11 months out for BCV and then at 7 months out attempt to change our reservation to Bay Lake Towers (BLT).

Based on the 2010 points chart we would need 77 BCV points to secure the initial reservation.

If you are interested in a transfer please let me know if you own at BCV and what your use year is.

I have rented points out before but never rented or transfered for use.

Hi Roger,

If you transfer in BLT points, then you can book BLT at 11 months out. Even though your membership home resort is BCV, you can receive transfer from any other home resort points and use them in the same manner as the home resort rules. If you really want to stay at BLT, try to get the BLT points instead of the BCV points.

Thanks for the info. The reason I'm asking for BCV points though is because my home resort is at BCV. I want to book two rooms at the same time, using my points and the transfered points at 11 months out. Then we will try to switch to BLT at 7 months. I would hate to book one room at BLT and one room at BCV 11 months out and then not be able to switch the BCV room to BLT at the 7 month mark.

Thanks. Right now we are going to hold out for BCV so we can combine with our current home resort points. I will keep your offer in mind if we aren't able to secure BCV points.
