Points Transfer Bookings

I'm used to points transfers being 'invisible' and needs Member Services to make the reservations. I had heard they were now visible, and that is true I see my 100 Beach Club points, but when I try and use them at 10 months it says I can not. So is it an issue that they were just setup or is it still the case we can't make reservations with these points ourselves?

Arr the points that were transferred Beach Club points? Remember, transferred points retain their home resort, so if they are for another resort you wouldn't be able to use them. Are the points for the correct use year? And not banked into another year?

I am assuming at 10 months you are booking Beach Club and only using Beach Club points.

If the online system isn't doing it, you may need to call, but you should be able to do it online as long as all rules are being followed or so I have been told.

Transferred points still require a call to MS during the home booking period. After the 7 month mark, you can create or modify online yourself.

Hopefully they’ll keep working on their IT, so we can have full control over transferred points

I had OKW transfer points and I could not book at the 11mo window online I had to wait the 80 minutes on hold to book for NYE 2022 hoping that our reservation choice would still be there. Thankfully since OKW is a big resort I was able to get what we wanted.

What is the use year on the transferred points?

They are Oct 20 BC points that I have banked into 21 UY. So when trying to book 10 months out from now it shows I have them, then it just says I can't. Someone else suggested they can't be used during home priority (which I clearly want for what will be a summer 22 booking so I'll be making the call on the 11 month mark.

Ok, at least is a positive that I can see the points exist but I should be fine with a call on 11 month as so far I've been able to get studios during summer at BC but only the moment the window opens. I figure that will start to get harder with all the banked points.
