Or do i need to call and state that i want to use last years banked points? Many thanks everyone! Xx

You will need to bank this years point. It doesn't happen automatically. When you book, tell them you want to use the banked points from last year. Welcome Home!

So ill need to call, i cant do it online if i want to use the banked points first? Thanks

If the points are already banked, you should be able to make your reservation online, if you have a DVC member login and password.

It should automatically use the banked points first.

If the points are already banked, any reservation you make online will use those points first. If the points aren't banked, you can also do that online. Go into your points breakdown and you can see if they are banked, and bank them if needed.

If your points are not banked and you make a reservation online, the system will use current points first.

You can bank the points online and the system will use banked points first.

I prefer to do as much online as possible. MS has some good Advisors and some that need training. People used to just hang up and call back if they got one that wasn't making sense.

Today I find the less contact with MS the better, less mistakes to our reservations and our accounts.

Thank you guys very much, i would prefer to do it online as well thats why i was asking, just to make sure it will use the banked points first, thanks so much! X

Online booking is quite specific about what points are being used. There are also confirmation steps that give you the option of backing out if neded.

Also, you can email MS using the link you can find in the "Contacts" section. If your request cannot be done online and it's not time sensitive (like booking a room straight at 8am at 7 months), it's convenient.
For example, I used it to cancel one night and reallocate points between my two reservations.

That's what I do. Seems like they make fewer errors vis email and you get a written copy.
